The Meeting & Events Manager is the key liaison for the execution of comprehensive meetings and events services, crafting an immersive brand experience for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire meetings and events program, establishing training frameworks and management processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding event forecasts and strategic planning, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Oversee the department budget, approving expenditures for event materials as needed.
- Collaborate with event hosts to recommend and source essential elements such as decor, entertainment, and transportation.
- Implement enhancements for event success, including process improvements and performance reviews.
- Ensure alignment of operations and vendors with organizational requirements.
- Monitor department performance metrics and develop solutions for any identified gaps.
- Exemplify and promote behaviors aligned with company values, facilitating consensus among stakeholders.
- Utilize expertise in the field to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in staffing, training, and performance management is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills to enhance team effectiveness and quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
- Advanced mathematical skills for financial calculations.
