Amentum is seeking a Training Developer (Specialist) to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligent Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A).

This role is contingent upon award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement training programs for Military Intelligence systems in accordance with AR 350-1 and TRADOC Regulations.
  • Create intelligence products for various operational levels.
  • Validate and verify training support packages (TSPs).
  • Develop training materials following the ADDIE model: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate, along with other Army training databases.
  • Update the Training Development Capability (TDC).
  • Produce and maintain Interactive Multimedia Instruction, eLearning, and Web-Based Training content, including Soldier Training Packages (STP), Training Support Packages (TSP), and Programs of Instruction in TRADOC-approved formats for current and future PM IS&A systems.
  • Utilize electronic training applications such as video teleconferencing and computer-based training to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Create instructional videos, quick reference guides, and other materials to support user proficiency.
  • Conduct Instructor and Key Personnel Training (IKPT) events.
  • Perform quality control reviews on training content prior to delivery.
  • Build positive relationships within the Product Development team, as well as with vendors, software engineers, and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings related to the software/hardware development cycle to identify potential training challenges.
  • Assist in developing a New Equipment Training (NET) strategy and the creation of a NET-Plan.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Detail-oriented with strong technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in developing intelligence products across various levels.
  • Experience in the validation and verification of training support packages (TSP).

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret with SCI. Note that US Citizenship is necessary to obtain a Top Secret with SCI clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or a Technical field is required.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in developing training for Military Intelligence systems in accordance with AR 350-1 and TRADOC Regulations.
  • At least ten (10) years of direct and demonstrable experience with updating Army Systems Approach to Training (ASAT) and other Army training databases.
  • An additional ten (10) years of experience may substitute for education.

Travel:

Up to 25% travel may be expected for this position, which could include both continental United States and international locations.

Work Environment:

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in government office spaces.

Physical demands of this position include the ability to:

  • Be independently mobile.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Endure prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
  • Lift, push, or pull objects weighing over 50 pounds.
  • Withstand exposure to noise from operating equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
