About the Job

SMMA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Mid-Level HVAC Design Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of design projects and requires a strong balance of technical, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare HVAC calculations and drawings using Autodesk Revit BIM software
  • Select and specify HVAC equipment
  • Provide interdisciplinary coordination and review construction administration submittals
  • Conduct field surveys and other tasks related to construction site visits

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in HVAC systems design
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • EIT/PE registration is preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Load Calculation programs, and MS Office
  • Able to perform site visits on active construction sites
