Patient Service Coordinator

Job Summary:
Medix is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations: Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Insurance and Patient Information: Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
- Financial Transactions: Collect and log all co-pays and fees, and process payments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule, reschedule, or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments, and notify staff of changes when necessary.
- Communication and Teamwork: Answer incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Open to new graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in computer software and systems, with strong multitasking and communication skills.
