Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Patient Services Coordinator for our Pediatrics Department. The position is based at our West Valley City - Fairbourne location.
The ideal candidate should possess confidence, self-motivation, and a strong sense of compassion. As the first point of contact for our patients, the role requires exceptional communication and customer service skills to ensure the highest level of care.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Proficient typing and keyboarding skills.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys engaging with people.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English; proficiency in additional languages, particularly Spanish, is preferred.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Welcome patients seeking medical services in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments following established protocols.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with physicians, clinic staff, and patients regarding appointment scheduling and other inquiries.
- Document all necessary demographic information for patient contact and insurance billing purposes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in medical billing or office settings is preferred.
- Experience in customer service is advantageous.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Primarily sedentary work, with the ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Repetitive motions associated with computer and office equipment usage.
- Work is conducted in a climate-controlled indoor environment.
