Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinic-based ABA services to clients and their families
- Oversee the implementation of treatment protocols
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and parent surveys
- Design and document individualized behavior acquisition programs
- Perform descriptive and functional analyses as part of assessments
- Create behavior intervention plans targeting behavior reduction
- Develop and revise treatment plans in line with best practices and insurance requirements
- Implement and manage data collection systems
- Provide behavioral support in a multidisciplinary treatment environment
- Evaluate and report on client progress toward treatment goals
- Conduct individual and group training sessions for parents/caregivers
- Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary meetings
- Maintain BCBA certification through ongoing education
- Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements
- Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field
- Board certification as a BCBA in good standing
- Current BCBA licensure in Texas is required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift or transport up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of moving quickly during 6-8 hour sessions
- Ability to respond swiftly to manage behaviors
- Comfortable sitting on the floor as needed for patient interaction
- Ability to transition quickly from seated to standing positions
- Capability to bend or twist for physical management
- Ability to maintain physical holds for extended periods when necessary
