Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe, efficient, and economical operation of assigned locations, adhering to all safety, regulatory, and compliance activities.
  • Manage direct reports, promote a culture of safety, and support sales efforts while maintaining corporate and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead emergency response teams, implement and manage customer site location health and safety programs, and conduct regular safety audits.
  • Investigate incidents, communicate root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive measures to District Operations Managers.
  • Regularly brief upper management on customer site location performance, including cost and productivity opportunities and issues.
  • Maintain a supervisory presence, ensure daily pre-shift meetings, and communicate expectations to employees.
  • Manage day-to-day work activities to meet operational goals and objectives, ensuring all employees have the required tools and training.
  • Ensure company quality processes are adhered to at the customer site location level and partner with departments to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 3-5 years hazardous waste operations experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of BiProduct and Waste facility operation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of governmental requirements related to BiProduct and Waste, such as OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, etc., preferred or demonstrated ability to attain such knowledge.
  • Supervisory leadership with a consistent record of communicating, supporting, and empowering employees to achieve operational objectives.
  • Proven understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, record, and report department production.
  • Ability to report and understand performance metrics and process improvement.
  • High-level decision-making ability, balancing customer needs and company objectives.
  • HazMat certified and Hazwoper Certified is a huge plus.
