About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Aide in our CNA Training Track. As a Support Aide, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our clinicians, providing direct care to our residents and gaining valuable experience in the field of nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Transport residents to various locations within the facility, including the dining room, activity program areas, and therapy or treatment areas.
  • Make unoccupied resident beds and assist with food service in the dining room, under the direction of licensed therapy staff.
  • Distribute supplemental nourishments to residents who do not need to be fed, as directed.
  • Conduct informal activities on the nursing unit when time permits, as directed.
  • Supply fresh water in resident's rooms, as directed.
  • Prepare bed and bedwear of resident's at hour of sleep, as assigned.
  • Help keep general areas of the assigned nursing unit neat and orderly, as directed.
  • Clean resident's equipment, as assigned.
  • Keep the rooms of residents orderly, as assigned.
  • Notify therapist of any unusual incidents regarding residents.
Qualifications
  • Seventeen (17) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Employment Certificate/Permit required for 16-17 years of age.
  • No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property through any current or previous licensing agency.
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
