Job Summary:

The Account Executive/Broker II will be responsible for developing and implementing coverage strategies for clients in the construction industry. This includes analyzing client risk exposure, identifying potential risks, and developing marketing proposals to mitigate those risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior unit members to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business
  • Analyze client-specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements
  • Prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with the underwriting community, especially key partner markets
  • Process and issue new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions, and cancellations
  • Review and proofread all assignments, acquiring accurate signatures and dispensing as appropriate
  • Calculate adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance and provider documents
  • Lead, measure, and report on ongoing insurance or risk retention programs
  • Handle daily tasks and key assignments with appropriate technology tools
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience, preferably in construction
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including insurance courses/certifications/designations
  • Thorough analysis of current risk transfer programs, such as coverage and cost analysis and graphical representations of the program
  • Insurance program structure planning and design of alternatives based on client objectives
  • Prepare marketplace insurance submissions, coordinate, and assist in market meetings and negotiations, as appropriate
