Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at a rapidly growing institution of higher learning.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining program accreditation, developing a contemporary and evidence-based curriculum, and providing leadership and vision for the DPT program. The ideal candidate will have a terminal academic doctorate, extensive experience in higher education, and knowledge of legislative and regulatory issues affecting clinical education and physical therapy practice.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain program accreditation from CAPTE
  • Develop and implement a contemporary and evidence-based curriculum that meets accreditation standards
  • Provide leadership and vision for the DPT program
  • Maintain accurate information on the program website regarding accreditation status and student achievement measures

Requirements
  • Earned terminal academic doctorate (PhD, EdD, DSc, etc.)
  • At least 6 years of full-time higher education experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DPT faculty member or Associate Professor
  • Active Physical Therapist License

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $140,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience.
