Job Title: Speech Instructor

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Speech Instructor to join our team at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching college-level and concurrent credit Speech courses, as well as serving as an academic advisor and working closely with Arts, Humanities, & Education division members, dean, tutoring staff, and other College personnel to promote student success.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach college-level and concurrent credit Speech courses
  • Serve as an academic advisor
  • Work closely with Arts, Humanities, & Education division members, dean, tutoring staff, and other College personnel to promote student success
  • Participate in planning, assessment, and professional development
  • Teach on the Hope and Texarkana campuses
  • Evening duties may be required
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Communications required
  • Teaching experience in this area is preferred
  • Preferred consideration will be given to applicants who have experience in and are interested in teaching concurrent credit, online, and/or site-to-site via Blackboard Collaborate
Benefits:
  • Base salary of $36,000
  • Commensurate with education and experience
