Job Summary

The University of Arkansas System is seeking a dynamic and engaging Speech Instructor to join our team at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana. As a key member of our Arts and Humanities department, you will be responsible for teaching college-level and concurrent credit Speech courses, serving as an academic advisor, and working closely with division members to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Speech courses on the Hope and Texarkana campuses
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning
  • Provide academic advising and support to students
  • Collaborate with department members to promote student success
  • Participate in department and university committees
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Communications. Teaching experience in this area is preferred. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in teaching concurrent credit, online, and/or site-to-site via Blackboard Collaborate.
