Role Overview
As a Strategic Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and presenting communication strategies to our clients. Your expertise will guide clients in making informed media and communication decisions grounded in data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Significantly contribute to the formulation of communication strategies that activate consumer insights and drive client innovation.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the strategic input required in the overall channel planning process.
- Translate client briefs into insightful media strategies and communication plans with well-defined media objectives.
- Collaborate with the Insights team to assess client business scenarios and pinpoint essential communication goals.
- Support the identification of key media roles and ensure media strategies complement other marketing initiatives.
- Foster continuous innovation within the agency's offerings, ensuring alignment of strategy and insights towards common objectives.
- Work closely with the Ideas and Planning team to ensure that strategies are both inspiring and actionable.
- Collaborate with the Accountability and Performance team to establish and execute effective measurement plans.
- Engage with partner agencies to integrate messaging and creative campaigns into comprehensive media and communication strategies.
- Stay informed on industry trends, macroeconomic factors, and consumer behavior to enhance strategic intelligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications; or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Strategy/Communications role within a creative or media agency.
- Strong foundation in media with in-depth knowledge of paid, owned, and earned channels and their synergistic potential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive under pressure.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, enabling successful partnerships across various disciplines.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and data sources.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for learning and evolving in the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
