Job Summary:

Newtown Savings Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-time Customer Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through various communication channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide product and service information to customers, as well as account resolution.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding all Bank services and product suites.
  • Use knowledge to actively solicit new business from customers and potential customers.
  • Process and settle customer transactions received through incoming communication channels.
  • Maintain knowledge and follow all CIP, BSA, AML, and OFAC requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year Banking experience.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Ability to listen well and follow instruction.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications.
  • Verbal and Written Communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of Banking Rules and Regulations.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
