About Us:

NYC Health + Hospitals is the major tertiary care provider in Queens, with 545 beds and a Level I Trauma Center, Emergency Heart Care Station, and 911 Receiving Hospital. We offer a wide range of services, including Surgery, Cardiology, Women's Health, Pediatrics, Rehabilitation Medicine, Renal, and Mental Health Services.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating trauma registry activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with ACS COT requirements. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Education and Experience:

• A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counseling
• Two (2) years of full-time experience in medically-oriented healthcare settings, one (1) year of which included experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity
• Proficiency in Excel and medical terminology
• Minimum 1 year Trauma Database experience (NTRACS, TraumaOne, Lancet, etc.)
• Certification or licensure may be required
