Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Intermountain Health in Billings, Montana. As a Trauma Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients. You will utilize the nursing process, incorporating technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practices, and coordination with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and psychological needs
  • Foster quality care that prioritizes patients' and families' well-being
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
  • Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
  • Participate in clinical team conferences

Requirements:

  • ASN from an accredited program; BSN within 4 years
  • Current RN license in state of practice
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
  • One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting, preferred
