Job Summary

Excel Interior Door, L.L.C. is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our production team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of work, managing team members, and driving productivity across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Coach, mentor, and guide team members to meet and surpass current and future performance goals.
  • Safety and Quality: Promote and prioritize safety in all operations, ensuring team members follow standard procedures to produce high-quality products.
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement daily action plans to address production obstacles, review and act on daily KPIs, and report any discrepancies during shifts.
  • Performance Evaluation: Perform timely and constructive performance evaluations, manage employee discipline according to company policy, and approve timecards in line with company policy.
  • Departmental Support: Ensure each department has appropriate staff to meet objectives, assist departmental supervisors with preparing schedules, and keep and maintain appropriate production and employee records.
  • Compliance and Coordination: Ensure assigned departments comply with company policies and safety standards, coordinate with human resources to respond to employee concerns or complaints, and perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Managerial and Supervisory Skills: Excellent managerial and supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, departmental supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least five years of related experience and three years of supervisory experience.
