Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Specialist - Geriatric Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Administering medications as ordered by physicians and adhering to Facility policies.
  • Leading and guiding nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Assisting physicians with rounds and physical examinations as needed.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining infection control measures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • CPR certification and ability to maintain it yearly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
