About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at The Laurels of Bedford. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our guests and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Job Summary

The Nurse Care Specialist will plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care services to our guests, working closely with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and other team members to ensure seamless care delivery. This role requires strong assessment skills, effective communication, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement individualized care plans for guests based on their unique needs and preferences
  • Conduct thorough assessments of guests' health status and notify physicians of any changes or concerns
  • Administer medications safely and accurately, ensuring adherence to established protocols
  • Supervise CNAs and other team members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of experience in long-term care settings, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state
  • CPR certification
