Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team as a Telemetry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The successful candidate will have experience in critical care or telemetry settings, with a strong foundation in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic monitoring. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is a 24-hour per week position, requiring flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends. As a Telemetry Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips, and recognizing and assisting patients in shock or life-threatening complications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months of employment or transfer into position
  • Critical care or telemetry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required
