PACS/RIS Administrator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PACS/RIS Administrator to join our team at Radiology Associates of Hartford PC. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day PACS/RIS issues, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical imaging systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage PACS/RIS systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Provide technical support to radiologists, technologists, and other staff members
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and implement new technologies
  • Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in medical imaging technology
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in radiology or IT
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical imaging systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
