The Brown Dermatology is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide exceptional administrative support to the Chairman and academic faculty. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Chairman's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Correspond with physicians and administration regarding appointments, reappointments, and promotions.
  • Responsible for working with faculty on various projects.
  • Produce reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence emanating from the Chairman's office.
  • Ensure the operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Requirements:

  • High proficiency in computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • High level of organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to operate a variety of office equipment.

This is a full-time position. Salary is approximately $65,000 per year, based on experience.
