The Division of Surgical Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.

As a leading academic medical system, Northwestern Medicine offers a unique opportunity to provide surgical oncology services in downtown Chicago locations.

Responsibilities include taking call, rounding, and caring for pre-op and post-op patients in concert with the clinical team, as well as responding to local consultation requests and referrals on a daily basis.

This position includes an appointment on the faculty within the Division of Surgical Oncology of Northwestern University.

Qualified candidates will have a strong background in clinical surgical oncology, with a preference for candidates with experience in complex gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and hepatobiliary surgery, including experience with HIPEC.

Additionally, qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME-accredited complex surgical oncology fellowship program and be board certified or eligible in complex general surgical oncology.

Surgical Oncologists in this position may participate in academic programs of the Feinberg School of Medicine, including educational programs such as training, preceptorship, and mentoring.
