Mechanical Intern-Buildings Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Mechanical Intern to join our team at Stantec Buildings. As a Mechanical Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and designers to gain hands-on experience in mechanical engineering design, including building load calculations, ductwork and equipment layouts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a college student to support a number of exciting local projects and develop their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of CADD drawings and participate in mechanical design.
- Perform field work as directed by senior engineer/designer, including evaluation of existing sites.
- Assist with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
Qualifications
- Working toward a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficient in CADD with basic understanding of Revit and AutoCad, and the use of it as a drafting/design tool.
- Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting.
