Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at the State of Hawaii. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for performing skilled plumbing work in the repair, maintenance, and installation of plumbing systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled plumbing work in the repair, maintenance, and installation of plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid State of Hawaii Journey Worker Plumber License or Master Plumber License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in plumbing maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
Working Conditions

The Plumber will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The Plumber will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces, and will be exposed to loud noises and hazardous materials.
