Job Title: Part-Time Lecturer Position at University of Hawaii

Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time lecturer to join our team at the University of Hawaii. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting lectures and laboratory courses in the discipline of Hawaiian language and studies. The position is temporary and non-tenure track, with assignments as needed, contingent on availability of funds and actual staffing requirements for East Hawaii, West Hawaii, and/or North Hawaii campuses.

Responsibilities:
Conduct lecture and laboratory courses in the discipline of Hawaiian language and studies
Maintain at least one office hour per week for each class taught
Possible evening, weekend, and off-campus assignments
Conduct student evaluations of teaching effectiveness
Adhere to all due dates, including the online submission of grades

Requirements:
Master's degree in Hawaiian language with at least 9 credits of advanced and/or graduate level coursework focused on Native Hawaiian areas
OR Bachelor's degree in Hawaiian Studies and 3 years of related work experience
OR Master's degree with at least 15 credits of advanced and/or graduate level coursework or research topic focused on Native Hawaiian areas
OR Master recognition in a specific area of Hawaiian knowledge as recognized by the Hawaiian Community in that area and 10 years of related work experience
