Strategic Public Affairs Officer

The ICRC Regional Delegation for the U.S. & Canada, based in Washington, D.C., is at the heart of our efforts to deliver on the ICRC's mandate. We cultivate relationships with U.S. government agencies, civil society, donors, and the media to secure much-needed support, influence, and partnerships for our work in conflict zones.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic communication plans to advance ICRC's positioning, influence, and engagement objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media representatives, policymakers, and influencers.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality public communications materials and products, including press releases, social media content, and crisis communications.
- Support the Head of Communications & Public Affairs in the overall coordination and planning of public communications output across all channels.
Salary: $112,750.00 - $128,000.00 per annum, depending on experience.
