Position Overview
The Personal Injury Protection Claims Supervisor is responsible for leading a dedicated team of 5-7 Claims Representatives focused on managing Personal Injury Protection claims. This role involves collaborating with fellow Supervisors to oversee the office's overall claim processing and providing essential training and guidance to claims associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and direct the team in the management of Personal Injury Protection and Extended Medical Expense claims, ensuring compliance with state regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor team performance and quality of work through regular Quality Reviews, providing management with insightful monthly performance analyses.
- Identify trends in claims handling, develop actionable solutions, and collaborate with other Supervisors and Directors to implement necessary changes.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Evaluate team performance through regular assessments and feedback, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Research and stay updated on relevant state and federal regulations affecting Personal Injury Protection claims.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and management, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in Personal Injury Protection claims.
- A minimum of five to seven years of related experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with data analysis tools like Tableau is advantageous.
