Job Summary

The Omni Inclusive team is seeking a skilled Automotive Validation Specialist to lead electrical feature testing for specific vehicle programs. As a key member of our Engineering Support team, you will work closely with suppliers, systems, wiring, design release engineers, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams to validate and resolve electrical issues and ensure successful vehicle launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute test plans for electrical features across the vehicle, including cluster, radio, body control module, telematics, and powertrain
  • Develop and maintain subsystem test benches
  • Root cause analysis of issues found
  • Provide feedback on System Requirements to ensure specs are testable

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Relevant automotive experience
  • Knowledge of CAN-based communication and tools like CANAlyzer and CANOE
  • Experience with multimeters and oscilloscopes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CAN-FD and Ethernet protocol
  • Creating test plans
  • Performing System Behavior Testing
