As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving and processing shipments, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will also be required to operate a forklift and use company vehicles for pick-up and delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be familiar with material handling equipment and have a valid forklift operator's license.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process shipments, including verifying inventory and updating records
- Manage inventory levels and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy
- Operate a forklift and use company vehicles for pick-up and delivery
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, including adhering to company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Forklift operator's license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
