Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of our automated equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance and repair of automated equipment and systems, including electrical controls, mechanical systems, and chill water plant systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical control issues to a component level, including capacitors, inductors, diodes, LED, and transistors.
  • Program basic changes to PLC controllers, including modifying timing, adding alarms, and logic for additional inputs or outputs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operation of equipment and systems.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity with warehouse operations.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintain the CMMS/EAM system on repairs required and performed on equipment in the Distribution Center.
Requirements
  • Requires some technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Normally requires at least two (2) years related and progressively responsible experience; strong electrical background preferred.
  • Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, illustrated parts breakdown diagrams, and electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including testing, replacement, or repair of electrical systems, motors, power supplies, frequency drives, and other equipment.
