Position Overview

In the dynamic world of financial services, the role of a Client Account Services Representative is pivotal. Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to a high volume of incoming calls, delivering service with enthusiasm and a focus on client needs.
  • Accurately assess inquiries and issues, crafting tailored solutions that prioritize client satisfaction.
  • Educate branch personnel on the intricacies of account setup and maintenance processes.
  • Adhere to established schedules to meet departmental Service Level Agreements effectively.
  • Facilitate the establishment of new client accounts in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Process documentation in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client standards.
  • Analyze common issues, interpret data, and determine appropriate corrective measures.
  • Compile and manage departmental reports, collaborating with Financial Advisors and Service Associates to resolve account discrepancies.
  • Uphold established policies and procedures while suggesting improvements to enhance operational workflows.
  • Act as a mentor to less experienced associates, promoting a culture of service excellence.
  • Engage in continuous learning and on-the-job training to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Assist in various departmental functions during peak periods to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications

Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with operations and new account systems.
  • Understanding of customer service principles within the financial sector.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Awareness of investment concepts relevant to the securities industry.

Skills:
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of calls requiring quick, analytical responses.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving operational challenges.
  • Numerical aptitude and critical thinking skills for problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements.
  • Competence in using standard office equipment and software for communication and reporting.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of customer service experience. Experience in a contact center is preferred, along with a college degree.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training approved by Human Resources.
