Qualifications Required:

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer operations is essential.
  • Minimum of six months experience with IBM or similar computer systems, or relevant college coursework in MS Word.
  • Experience in both alphabetical and numerical filing systems.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and multi-line telephone systems.
  • Typing speed of 45 words per minute and proficient in 10-key by touch.
  • Ability to communicate in Yup'ik is preferred.
  • Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Dependability and accuracy are critical.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for regular interaction with medical staff.
  • Must meet monthly deadlines to facilitate timely reimbursement.
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.
  • Capability to compose simple correspondence.
  • Aptitude for effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings to clients, customers, and colleagues.
