Qualifications Required:
- Completion of high school education or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer operations is essential.
- Minimum of six months experience with IBM or similar computer systems, or relevant college coursework in MS Word.
- Experience in both alphabetical and numerical filing systems.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and multi-line telephone systems.
- Typing speed of 45 words per minute and proficient in 10-key by touch.
- Ability to communicate in Yup'ik is preferred.
- Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Dependability and accuracy are critical.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for regular interaction with medical staff.
- Must meet monthly deadlines to facilitate timely reimbursement.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.
- Capability to compose simple correspondence.
- Aptitude for effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings to clients, customers, and colleagues.
