Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines
  • Conduct patient assessments and provide education on dialysis treatment
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification
  • At least two years of previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
