Job Summary:

As the Senior Culinary Operations Manager, you will oversee both kitchen and dining operations within our senior living community. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a high-quality culinary program while managing financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff in alignment with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Engage in team meetings and training initiatives.
  • Implement safety, sanitation, and maintenance protocols.
  • Manage food costs while upholding quality standards.
  • Actively participate in team development and management.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management.
  • Execute additional duties and special projects as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of three years in progressive culinary management roles.
  • Self-motivated with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Positive demeanor under pressure with the ability to inspire the team.
  • Passion for culinary excellence.
  • Knowledgeable in HACCP controls and food safety practices.
  • Experience in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation.
  • Familiarity with P&L and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of budgeting, labor costs, and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and training capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business etiquette and client relations skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling principles.
  • Commitment to high standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
