Job Title: Internal Audit SpecialistThe Internal Audit Specialist plays a critical role in helping Nintendo achieve its business objectives by providing independent and objective audit, consulting, and advisory services. This position is responsible for performing operational audits and J-SOX compliance control assessments for the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform operational audits and J-SOX compliance control assessments for the Americas region.
- Build and maintain relationships and trust with client stakeholders while executing audit engagements.
- Identify, document, and evaluate business risks and controls based on set criteria.
- Conduct effective interviews at all levels of the organization.
- Assist in the development of test plans or procedures that are effectively aligned with audit programs.
- Perform and document walkthroughs and testing of business processes and controls.
- Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Identify control gaps and validate them with stakeholders.
- Make recommendations to address audit issues/improvement opportunities and perform follow-up.
- Gather and analyze comparative benchmarking data to review with management and/or leadership teams.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Keep detailed and well-organized audit records.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive written reports.
- Two to three years of audit experience, internal audit experience preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) to foster collaborative and productive relationships.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making.
- Experience performing internal business operation audits preferred.
- Knowledge of COSO internal control frameworks and hands-on Sarbanes-Oxley experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Participation in professional audit organizations (IIA, AICPA, etc.) preferred.
- Has or is looking to pursue CIA, CPA, or relevant certification.
This position includes a base salary range of $77,500 - $124,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
