Job Overview

Position Title: Amarillo Operations Supervisor

Department: Amarillo

Reports To: Director of Branch Operations

Classification: Exempt

Supervisory Role: Yes

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit a self-motivated and professional demeanor, maintaining a neat appearance and demonstrating strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring each interaction leaves a positive impression of Air Compressor Solutions.
  • Assess rental units for readiness and manage the check-in process efficiently.
  • Accurately prepare and finalize all rental and return documentation.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone in a friendly and prompt manner, effectively resolving service issues and providing suitable recommendations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards both the role and the clientele served.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Follow detailed instructions to navigate complex processes for issue resolution.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by being aware of surroundings and operating equipment safely.
  • Stay informed on product and industry developments through ongoing reading and training.
  • Bring a strong service background from the equipment or service sector.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and Word, as well as operating systems.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency.
  • Exhibit a willingness to exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member.
  • Guide and mentor colleagues in operational procedures and professional growth.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Be available for travel as necessary for training purposes.
  • Prepare interview questions and outline candidate qualifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills over the phone and basic computer literacy.
  • Bilingual capabilities are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and quickly adapting to new procedures.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, including mechanical and electrical failures.
  • Engage with customers to identify their concerns and determine how Air Compressor Solutions can assist.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Military experience with honorable discharge is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and relationship management.
