About the Role

Amarillo College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Mathematics to join our team. As a Mathematics Professor, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses to students, utilizing engaging instructional methods and techniques.
  • Develop and implement curriculum, ensuring alignment with institutional guidelines.
  • Evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Participate in course and curriculum development, revision, and evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance and academic performance.
  • Perform other work-related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Mathematics or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching/tutoring mathematics, preferably in higher education.
  • Ability to understand and apply learner-centered and high-impact instructional methods.
  • Skills in computer operation and instructional technology.
  • Ability to work under stress, independently, and as a team member.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
