Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operational maintenance and repair of various equipment.
  • Replace light bulbs and conduct preventative maintenance in guest rooms, including vinyl repairs, touch-up painting, minor furniture repairs, tub caulking, and tile repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry machines, HVAC systems, guest rooms, meeting spaces, swimming pools, and hot tubs.
  • Conduct plumbing repairs, laundry equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance on exhaust fans; monitor energy conservation efforts; repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment as needed.
  • Respond promptly to alarms to ascertain the location and cause, determine emergency status, and report findings.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in a hotel or related field.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state is required.
  • An acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) is necessary.
