Position: Commercial Insurance Account Executive | Middle Market Insurance Account Manager
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 plus benefits
Work Arrangement: Hybrid or Remote
Overview: The Commercial Accounts Manager plays a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients while delivering outstanding service. This position collaborates closely with the Team Leader and Producers to ensure client satisfaction and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the precision of new and renewal insurance policies, encompassing ratings, coverage details, and pertinent information.
- Engage with both new and existing clients to secure quotations through online platforms or direct submissions to underwriting.
- Act as a key technical resource in property and casualty insurance, fostering strong client relationships and advocating on their behalf with insurance carriers.
- Conduct thorough analyses of current insurance programs during renewals to pinpoint significant premium increases, coverage adjustments, and any missing recommended protections, while advising clients on renewal strategies.
- Anticipate client requirements, initiate proactive communication, resolve challenges, and provide regular updates throughout the duration of client-specific programs.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate client and policy records in Applied EPIC, including policies, endorsements, new business, and renewals.
- Coordinate and execute renewal timelines effectively.
- Prepare and present new business and renewal proposals, both verbally and in writing.
- Collect and assess exposure and loss data to inform decision-making.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance.
- Possession of a current property and casualty insurance license.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with insurance agency management systems, particularly Applied EPIC.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- A customer-centric mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Education and Licensing Requirements:
- Current Property and Casualty Insurance License is mandatory.
