Position: Commercial Insurance Account Manager | Middle Market Insurance Account Executive

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 plus benefits

Work Arrangement: Hybrid or Remote

Location: Trenton, NJ Area

Overview: The Commercial Insurance Account Manager plays a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of commercial clients while delivering outstanding service. This position collaborates closely with the Team Leader and Producers to ensure client satisfaction and drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the precision of new and renewal insurance policies, including coverage details and rating information.
  • Engage with new and existing clients to secure quotes through online platforms or direct submissions to underwriting.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by acting as an internal expert in property and casualty insurance, advocating for clients with insurance carriers.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of current insurance programs at renewal to identify significant premium increases, coverage adjustments, and missing recommended protections, advising clients on renewal strategies such as remarketing or program enhancements.
  • Anticipate client requirements, initiate proactive communication, resolve issues, and provide regular updates throughout the duration of client-specific programs.
  • Maintain precise client and policy records in Applied EPIC, including new business, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Develop and manage renewal timelines effectively.
  • Prepare and present new business and renewal proposals, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collect and evaluate exposure and loss data.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance.
  • Valid property and casualty insurance license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Familiarity with insurance agency management systems, preferably Applied EPIC.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Client-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Education and Licensing:

  • Current Property and Casualty Insurance License is mandatory.
