Job Summary: We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare. As a Patient Care Technician, you will perform various patient care duties under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse or other medical staff. Your primary responsibility will be to help in the delivery of patient care and meet the needs of the family or significant other, following the plan of care that includes the age and/or development stage of the patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and record patient data, record vital signs, and help patients with activities of daily living (ADL).
  • Answer call lights and complete patient rounds.
  • Help with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
  • Taking care of patient personal hygiene and help with patient clean up.
  • Comply with Baylor Scott & White Healthcare policies and procedures.
