Under the guidance of the Accounting Director, the Lead Financial Analyst will deliver exceptional service to stakeholders requiring financial insights for informed decision-making. As a vital member of the LSS Financial Services Team, this role encompasses fiscal oversight for program leaders and managers. The Lead Financial Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records while undertaking various projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities are essential to the role and may be adjusted to meet organizational needs:

Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve strategic objectives. Apply accounting principles to document financial transactions and generate financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Develop and implement internal control measures to guarantee accurate transaction recording. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of accounting software and financial reporting structures. Manage daily banking operations and transactions. Accurately complete tax forms and ensure timely submissions. Prepare and support general ledger entries with appropriate documentation. Independently resolve complex account reconciliations. Generate monthly invoices and manage the collection of payments from various funding sources. Compile financial data and create reports using diverse financial applications. Assist in the preparation for annual audits, including necessary schedules and documentation. Contribute to the development of standardized accounting policies and procedures. May oversee smaller projects, including all accounting processes and reporting. Support budget preparation as required. Foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders by providing financial insights and timely responses to inquiries. Stay informed about training requirements for evolving business needs. Serve as a resource for finance team members. Proactively manage project assignments. Uphold high ethical standards in financial reporting. Communicate effectively and positively with all stakeholders.

Supervisory Role:

Qualifications:
