Responsibilities

The actuarial internship program has two primary objectives: to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the actuarial field and to identify potential full-time talent. Interns will participate in a variety of actuarial research activities, including expense studies, lapse studies, rate management analysis, product pricing, process automation, and other projects that align with the department's needs. These activities will provide a hands-on experience in actuarial science and expose interns to real-world business challenges.

Requirements
  • Successful track record in a four-year degree program in Math or Actuarial Science.
  • Proven leadership skills, including project management, team motivation, and effective communication.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects and duties.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively.
