Job Overview


This position is responsible for selling Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions to companies within an assigned account list. The successful candidate will develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers at the Major Account level.

Key Responsibilities


  • Reports customer activity to management, identifying customer requirements, competitive trends, and changing environments.
  • Develops strategic plans to address customer's requirements on a local basis, including short-term and long-term goals.
  • Provides marketing, technical, and administrative support to named accounts' internal departments to ensure outstanding relations and excellent customer support in all facets of daily activity.
  • Develops plans to introduce/place Canon technology, service, software, and 3rd party solutions to address customer requirements.
  • Establishes high-level relationships with customer base that will enhance long-term working partnerships.

Requirements


Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience.

Recent experience in office technology, business-to-business outside sales, strong communication skills, ability to work autonomously, and excellent time management skills are essential.

The role requires some travel within the local market, which may include overnights, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

An estimated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $74,770, with potential commission under an applicable plan.
