Job Summary:

As a Service Representative at Graybar, you will serve as the key contact and liaison for customers to ensure total customer satisfaction. Your role will involve taking an active part in selling Company goods and services, coordinating the prompt handling of customer service requests, and performing all shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Sell Company goods and services to customers
Coordinate customer service requests, including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and order maintenance
Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties
Evaluate inventory requirements and levels, and take steps to maintain the correct balance of merchandise
Operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders
Update knowledge of products through self-study and attending product training classes

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical requirements necessary to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials throughout the warehouse
Ability to operate and maneuver warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts
Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including adapting to seasonal changes, significant temperature variations, and inclement weather conditions

Requirements:

Customer service skills with the ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact
Communication, administrative, and computer skills
Ability to work under general supervision and work cooperatively with other branch personnel
Ability to successfully complete all Company training designed to comply with regulatory requirements
