Automotive Alignment Specialist

At Big O Tires, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team. As an essential member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and safe alignment of customer vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components to identify potential issues that may affect the alignment process.
- Communicate with customers and management to report any issues found during inspection or the alignment process.
- Maintain timely and professional communication with colleagues and management.
- Keep supervisors informed of any maintenance problems or issues that require attention.
- Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Perform alignments using up-to-date alignment equipment.
- Unload transport trucks and warehouse tires, and inspect disposed tires for adjustment.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment and drive vehicles into and out of service areas.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, and utilize company checklists to ensure consistent adherence to expectations.
- ASE Certification
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
- Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions
- Compliance with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shift
- Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to meet company requirements, including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check
$32.00 per hour
