POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician II is accountable for the preparation, setup, disassembly, and pressing of RF materials to create copper clad or unclad laminates. This role includes ensuring accurate material identification and completing the manufacturing Lot Traveler documentation. Additionally, the technician will input completed tasks into our Oracle database and adhere to established cleaning protocols for all controlled environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
  • Oversee cleanliness of clean room supplies and environments.
  • Maintain accurate traceability of all materials used.
  • Document productivity and maintain housekeeping checklists.
  • Analyze data to understand the construction of semi-finished boards and record lot numbers accordingly.
  • Assemble lots based on data from travelers.
  • Verify that all lot information is accurately recorded and entered into Oracle.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Retrieve film and pre-preg rolls from storage.
  • Conduct cycle counts on pre-preg and copper materials.
  • Ensure proper storage of all materials in designated locations.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by shift supervisors.
  • Submit all completed roll tickets promptly.
  • Input the correct recipe into the press.
  • Load and monitor presses to ensure alignment with the recipe.
  • Prepare laminate books for stacking in the loader.
  • Insert thermocouple wires into designated book locations.
  • Follow detailed instructions on the press plan and traveler for laminate construction.
  • Inspect materials for any defects such as fractures or wrinkles.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation regarding sheet quantities constructed.
  • Disassemble books and separate semi-finished boards from caul plates.
  • Document completed quantities accurately.
  • Utilize a forklift for transferring completed lots.
  • Perform quality checks on all orders.
  • Be cross-trained in various departments as needed based on operational demands.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS
Operators must successfully complete annual certification requirements.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for all positions.

SAFETY TRAINING
AGC adheres to all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines regarding personal protective equipment and safety training pertinent to job functions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • May be exposed to varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for handling materials.
  • Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs and perform various physical activities.
  • Effective communication skills for safety on the production floor.
  • Visual acuity for close and distant vision, color differentiation, and depth perception.

COMPENSATION
$19.00 per hour

WORK SCHEDULE
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime as required.
