Position Overview:
We are seeking a proficient CNC Mill Technician who is eager to tackle complex machining tasks utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. This role involves working with advanced machinery, specifically Haas vertical/5-axis and DMG Mori horizontal machines, to produce high-precision components from various materials such as aluminum, plastic, and steel.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical machines, particularly Haas UMC 750 5-axis and Mori DMG Horizontal.
2. Execute MDI (Manual Data Input) programming to enhance production efficiency.
3. Conduct manual inspections using precision gauges and instruments to verify part quality prior to submission to the Quality Department for CMM inspection.
4. Interpret complex 2-D drawings and apply GD&T principles.
5. Monitor and assess parts throughout the machining process to ensure adherence to specifications.
6. Adhere to company quality and safety protocols.
7. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
8. Engage in Lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize processes.

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC Mills machine setup.
3. Aerospace industry experience is essential.
4. Preferred experience with 5-axis setups.
5. Familiarity with Haas and/or Mori DMG machines is advantageous.
6. Proficient in working with diverse materials, including aluminum, plastic, and steel.
7. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
8. Experience with manual inspection techniques supporting CMM inspection by the Quality Department.
9. Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic are crucial.
10. Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
12. Competence in handling sensitive and confidential information.
13. Effective communication skills for successful teamwork.
