Dedicated Medical Care Coordinator

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our patients while working in conjunction with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, front office and clinical staff.

The primary center for this position is Hudson, OH, though you may also operate in other local work sites as needed. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team.
You will be responsible for scheduling appointments, completing prior authorizations, processing medication refills, handling referrals and answering patient calls as needed. You will also perform Clinical Intake with patients, taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
In addition, you will assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam preparation, etc. You will maintain clinical supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage of biohazards. You will also clean exam/procedure rooms, instruments and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control.
You'll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a High School diploma or completion of an equivalent adult education program. Active Medical Assistant Certification, CPR and/or BLS certification are also required.
Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience with electronic medical records software, experience performing medical back office tasks, and experience performing medical front office tasks.
